Realistic Sparring Weapons - Products - European Single-handed Sword

The Realistic Sparring Weapons version of European Single-handed Sword is modeled after a German 14th century sword that was ideal for the sword and buckler techniques shown in I.33. Compare to the Chinese Jian, which is of the same length approximately, the single-handed sword is heavier overall but with a balance slightly closer to the hand, despite its shorter hilt length. Thus the handling characteristic is vastly different from the Jian. In fact, it is even heavier than the European Bastard Sword in both the weight and balance. Hence, it strikes with awesome power.

European single-handed swords often has shorter hilt than the single-handed Chinese Jian.

Notice the non-circular handle of the sword, which tells the direction of the edges and the position of the flats on the blade. The blade is non-cylindrical to features discernible flats and edges.

The guard will be padded with foam for free by default. Shown below is an example of foam padding:

Or padded with rubber with the cost 20HKD / 2.64 USD. It is more attractive and durable than the foam padding. Shown below is the examples of rubber padding.
